I am a continuing student of liberal arts with a fascination for American history, both past and present. History is a powerful, but often unused tool when assessing current events. I am not a fanatic for dates and details as much as I question the “whys and what ifs?”

I am keenly conscious of my immediate environment and find much of my best material a glance away. I pair a unique perspective of the world with an unbiased curiosity to ask the obvious questions standard rhetoric often overlooks.

My work has appeared in local newspapers, magazines, and an occasional online publication. I have written jingles, lyrics, and have founded a business for personal reporting services that focuses on capturing those special moments of life in print. An example of my work currently appears in the summer edition of Raving Dove literary magazine. Check it out here: http://ravingdove.org/index.
